It depends on the religion. In Judeo-Christian Myth one must be married before you can have sex with your partner. Therefore, at what age is marriage appropriate?

2) There is no law on this, nor is there a social custom. It varies according to individual parent/child relationship.

I meant what age is acceptable for the individual. Not what age is acceptable legally.

Religiously, I suppose one could marry at any given time.

As for your second comment - I answered that too. There is no law in any doctrine I can think of, with the exception of Islam, that forces a child to follow his parent's beliefs.

There is no law in any country I can think of, with the exception of Muslim controlled areas, that says a child must follow their parent's beliefs.
