Help answer this question below.

I can buy a Lincoln Town Car (Signature Series) 1998 for $1.000 (the engine is broken)... should I buy it and try to get a new engine? or just forget it?

    I would forget it and buy a fuel efficient car,with the gas prices so high.In a gas guzzler like that you would be filling the tank every few blocks.

    I wouldn't do it, that's a 10-year-old vehicle to begin with. Figure in the fact that it's broken down, I wouldn't spend more than $200-$500 on it.

    The last vehicle I sold was 8 years old. I sold it for $500, and all it needed was a battery and some work to pass smog. But then again, I sold it to a friend.
