    Gone.

They ate food, and they ate it when they were alive.

Their gods supposedly ate ambrosia and drank nectar. (Must have made them frisky, because they really, really grooved on Earth girls.)

From my remembrance of Homer's Odyssey, they ate mostly roasted meats, fowl, fish, grains, and fresh veggies. Pita bread is also a very ancient food.

(Some years later, the Romans had more interesting foods--like a chicken cooked inside a pig cooked inside a sheep, cooked inside a cow. And they added lead to their wine to make it sweeter, and make them brain-dead.)

The guys would go to feasts where they would lie down on couches and be served by slaves. Women were kept apart--they may have had their own banquets.

Greek philosophers complained about kids taking more than their fair share from the family platter--but kids are always going to the dogs, even today!

They drank lots of wine--they even had hot water mixed with wine for breakfast! I prefer coffee.

See what kind of grade this answer will get you!

Don't know, but if it hasn't been refrigerated I wouldn't touch it now.
