Because he/she is my friend, I would most likely talk to him/her about the likelihood of one of us dying, and that one of us should give up his/her body so that the other person can survive. If we were real friends, I think both of us would want the other to live on, and would make a pact to commit ourselves to that endeavour. It would be the ultimate act of self-sacrifice and love for your friend.
