I saw a car pull into and park in a handicapped parking space at the post office. The person that got out could walk - even better than I can - they were just fat. Does simply being obese justify parking in a handicapped space?

Not without a Dr-recommended handicapped tag. I mean, I know a few people who really DO have trouble getting around because they are so obese, but that doesn't sound like what you're describing. Then again, you never can tell just by looking at someone...

You never know that person's story. It is kind of difficult to tell what is wrong with them just by looking at them. They may have had a condition where weight gain was only a side effect. See now? However, I commend you on taking notice. It really pisses me off when someone parks in a handicapped place. I ALWAYS tell the police. How disrespectful can a person be?!

Many conditions would make a driver eligible for handicapped parking. Just to look at how a person walks does not tell you what ever it is their doctor knows.
