Question

Help answer this question below.

I'm wondering if there is any research to show which letters in the alphabet are most misunderstood over the phone when spoken one at a time? (for example "P" misunderstood as "B" is a really bad one!). I'm looking for a ranking from worst to best.

This research was most likely done on the 50's when developing phonetic alphabets (Alpha Charlie Bravo) by the military. You may want to find some literature on this subject.
