Called Evanesce ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When the slippery threads on my memories of you, slide from my mind for a fleeting divine moment, there is always a reminder that persuades my tortured mind into forbidden thoughts of smiles and of eyes so sweet they could dissuade the hags of the ancient seas from harming sailors or evanesce the anger of medieval gods bent upon revenge. Do I wish for them back, once they depart? Oh how I wish I knew. Bonds of steel couldn't hold me more, nor rings of devil fire burn hotter than all realization of conscience unwilling, weighing heavily upon my thoughts, to a cause dulcet, captivating flow of pondering.

i like it... i would simplify it a little more, perhaps substitute a few words here and there but you have a coherent thought

Belle, I love poetry & your poem is very good. The only thing I had a bit of a problem with was understanding some of the words but keep in mind, I'm not a very bright person

I think it's perfect just the way it is. It was very interesting to read, and people could find all kinds of new meaning in it every time they read it. Don't change a thing. You could get this published if you want. Good work.
