  • You better believe it. Any error on the ticket can give the judge cause to throw it out. The officers very rarely show up anyway around here. Keep a cool head and be as nice as you can be, and you should have no trouble getting it thrown out. Cop an attitude about it and they might still enforce it. The last one we had, didn't even need a court day. We showed the lady at the reception desk what was wrong, she got the judge and it was dismissed instantly. Just be nice. :)
  • Any discrpancy in the information on the ticket casts a doubt on the whole rest of the ticket. I got a parking ticket on a road where the whole road was no parking, but the no parking sign was missing / stolen when I parked there. The ticket said I was 135 feet south of a sign and 30 feet north of a sign. I took a photograph showing no sign existed and no more ticket. Sometimes I think their way of letting you off without having to drop their attitude is leaving discrepancies that allow them to be dropped
  • Bottom line is..."did you commit this traffic violation"? If so, everything else can be corrected by the officer in traffic court.
