    It's a toss-up: my wife says paint thinner and I say pig sweat.

    The only reason anyone drinks tequila is to get DRUNK. Non-alcoholic defeats the whole purpose. As RedJohn said: paint thinner and pig sweat. Don't do it.

    Actually, you can make a decent non-alcoholic tequila for sweet and/or frozen drinks. Use agave nectar mixed with water and a touch of vinegar. Goes good in margaritas. There's a guide at http://www.frozen-drink-recipies.com/alcohol-substitution.html if your interested.

    The only thing that tastes like tequila is tequila. If you can't drink the real thing they why bother. :)
