  • All of them!
  • Well let's start with Bader-Ginsberg. What an idiot.
  • i have great respect for your questions and answers. i think that how you formed your question says something about your beliefs, especially given the supreme court's ruling on Gitmo courts access and gun laws. i've never met personally any of the justices. my understanding is that while thomas has quit talking during arguments, he is quite logical in discussions among justices. reading a few of his opinions, i think that they're either sloppy or tangential. there are conservative justices who, at times, i disagree with their opinions. there are liberal justices who, at times, i disaree with their opinions. the court had, in my opinion, a better balance when reinquest and o'connor were there, as opposed to alito and roberts. i think that all four are highly competent, and o'connor seemed, to me, to be more interested in doing the right thing than in doing the politically expedient thing. while i think that a case might be made for one justice actually be impeached, the trust you seek won't be found for some time, but, with retirements, things could change. also, there is nothing in our constitution that limits the court to nine justices and federal court divisions. thus, if the next president really wanted to, he could add two more justices and divisions, which might make americans happier. the days of the activist court must become a thing of the past.
  • I'm going to have to agree with Bob on this. Your question is very subjective and indicative that you're beliefs are less conservative than the current collection of supreme court justices. My question is and I really don't know the answer but can a supreme court justice be impeached? It was my understanding that only those holding an elected seat could be impeached.
  • Four of them considering they absolutely bastardized the constitution.
  • Just the ones that lean to the right (Alito, Roberts, Thomas).
  • i think that if Justice Scalia was impeached, confidence in the Supreme Court will be restored. Read this, it will explain everything, and take the poll at the end, to impreach scalia ! http://surftofind.com/obama
  • after once answering a long time ago, i now approach your question differently. given the fact that the ussc involved itself in a matter (presidential election) that was not a judicial matter and was reserved for the communities, states, and electoral college, one might like to see multiple impeachments on the ussc. i'm disappointed to not see anything about stolen elections in FL and OH in 2004.
  • To Me there is no real answer to the question. Is hard to regain trust once it is lost.Is an interesting one though.
