How Can I remove Iodine from my skin??? It"s awful!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! STAINED

    You can try a little alcohol or witch hazel, rubbing it over the area with a cotton ball or q-tip. Or try using soap that has the microbeads

    It might be absorbed a little faster if you stop using iodized salt for a while. Or you could experiment by pouring a little hydrogen peroxide or lemon juice over it--I have no idea if this would work. But it WILL be absorbed--Russian doctors swab it on the skin as a thyroid diagnostic. They can tell how the thyroid is working from how fast the iodine disappears.

    3M Transpore (Transparent tape). I had to put a trash bag over my cast & tape the top with that tape and when I took it off the iodine on my skin came right off with it. Put a piece of tape on, rub it a little and pull it off. It does not hurt or stick to your skin and I promise the iodine comes right off. It's freakin' awesome.
