The I-pod is a much cheaper option if your into music , but if your into serous gaming i suggest the ps3 , keeping in mind the ps3 is a very dear console , maybe the x-box 360 , its not as dear as ps3 , it has way better graphics , oh and lastly the games will cost about £100 for ps3 and £40 for x-box 360 . The i-pod is usefull aswell providing you have a computer ! , you will need to update and convert song onto your i-pod which is a dificult process.

god thats hard. I want a ps3 so bad but my iPod is gold to me, like he said music or games. I prefer iPod myself, preferably video to get the best entertainment. Besides, its portable.
