Help answer this question below.
Yes I have. Not very often. The first one I never gave to the person concerned. The latest one did. Here's the first verse...*name deleted of course*
When I first met you **** I had no idea,
The stories and smiles and tears we would share.
The words of wisdom that have come from within,
To my heart, a smile and laughter you bring.
Between us are miles of ocean and land,
But through cyber-space, you're in my hand.
I know I can reach out and find you again,
I know you are truely, a special friend.
Check my profile. Be careful though. It's really bad!!
A girl wrote one to me once describing what it was like to kiss me. It was sweet.
Why yes, I have! (to both questions)
Yes I have but they laughed at it so I guess I have to be more careful who I share it and write it for I guess...
Roses are red
Violets are blue
In the words of Achmed
I KEEL YOU!
cruisin' down your lonely highway
another sunset in our history
somewhere we got lost
along the way
chorus
lightin' fire's in the rain
tryin' to get my signals thru
to you
want to swim in your ocean
want to drown in your deep blue sea
want to tell you I love you
want to tune into your frequency
Fallin thru your secret doorway
another sequal in some lame movie
somewhere we got tossed
along the way
chorus
lightin' fire's in the rain
tryin' to get my signals thru
to you
want to swim in your ocean
want to drown in your deep blue sea
want to tell you I love you
want to tune into your frequency
Sure here's one for ya...
When I was out on my own
I had this feelin' you'd be coming along
I get this feeling
Man, it's still so strong
Everytime I look away
I know your never that
That far away
Your eyes light the path that shines my way
I'm savin' all my lovin' for some rainy day
Where did the rain go
I just want to know
Everytime I turn away
All I needs a smile
To brighten up my day
Make all my dark clouds go away
Im drownin' in your lovin' in some stormy bay
Where did the rain go
I always thought you'd know
Where did the rain go
I just want to know
Anytime I reach for you
It's always the same
It's always new
Yeah I can feel your love light on me too
I guess it's something we both always knew
Where did the rain go
I always thought you'd know
no and will not do that
I have written many a poem for many ladies. Romance hasn't died, more the willingness for guys to participate has been severely wounded. Look at my profile, and you'll see some short diddy I have music written for, though not really the best poetic example. Still, better then nothing, I guess. :-p
i have written poems about my cats. They love them.
I used to write prolifically when I was in high school and college, not so much now. One of my favorites started like this:
Well, the rain is raining backwards
And the grass is growing red
I feel I'm on a rockpile
Each time I climb in bed
My pillow feels concrete
My biscuit like cement
But do I notice? Do I care?
Shall I give you just a hint?
I write poems all the time and most of the time, it's about someone or something in my life but the poems are not necessarily shared with the person whom I wrote about. I used to have people write me poems but it's been years.
I write poems for my wife. They're actually quite bad and I do it more because it makes her laugh. She has written me a couple.
I don't know how to write poems, and no one's ever written one for me. I would very much like to be the source of someone's inspiration though...
Amazingly enough I have. I wrote it for my best-friend. I have yet to show it to him. Who knew I was creative?
I wrote one not too long ago. It did not go over well. I will stick to painting.
I can never get the words together and its really frustrating. This kind of thing has been going on for years now. I'm cool at writing letters if that counts. Even then I would have to be in the "zone".
I've written several poems, a few of which have been published, but never had one written for me.
I've written many for various people but I don't think I've ever had one written for me.
No and no, never was a fan of poetry
I wrote a book of poetry for an ex girlfriend of mine, many moons ago. Im certain she has used it for toliet paper though.
Yes I always right poems for people..sometimes they get to see them and sometimes not...as for me...hmmm I darn I don't think anyone ever wrote me one! Oh well :)
I have written many poems for people living and poems in memory of that either was writtenor read a loud.
Yes.
i have recently... i was having a really bad day and i pushed my best friend away when she was trying to hug me, besides that i was a jerk to her almost all day... so i wrote her a poem...
yes.I have wrote many poems for people.i don't know if i've ever had one written for me...

Would this be at least somewhat okay as a rough draft for a non-rhyming poem...? It's due tomorrow. (Read Description)
