Help answer this question below.

My 94 Honda Civic will surg whenever it sets in park or even if i stop at a stop sign. Can anyone give me a suggestion on what it could be? Also the check engine light came on and my Speedomoter stops working sometimes?

    There are a few things that may be wrong - what you have is called high idle, and it can be caused by bad mass air flow sensor, O2 sensor, or idle air control valve.

    If you have a enginge light lit, the first thing you should do is get to the dealership and ask them to read the DTC codes of your honda. It's a 5 min deal and if you ask nicely they'll do it for free just to give you an estimate how much they would charge you to fix the thing.

    You can't do it at AutoZone since OBD-II is only 96 and newer cars, you need specific Honda code reader.
