I can't upload an animated GIF to use as an Answerbag avatar. The image loses its movement in the transition. How can I fix this?

Chances are it hasn't been re sized properly. Take a copy of the original image to http://www.gifworks.com/ and use the free online tool to get both sides to 60 pixels or less. Keep the original aspect or it'll look strange.
