In the last decade, I've noticed many events & trends similar to those of the 1970's; rising oil prices, inflation, the Star Wars prequels, Superman returns, the 2005 King Tut exhibit, etc. Can you think of other recent events/trends echoing the 70's?

    yes... everything in America is in the proccess of becoming illegal and personally i care not to live here if i can't even go to the bathroom without getting a ticket
