Help answer this question below.

Earlier I posted a post that had said my throat was itching and I had to make a wierd noise to make it feel better. now it is like a month later, and whenever i swallow it feels liek there is a big lump and it really hurts. anyone know what this could be?

    it doesnt like feel like a normal soar throat, even though it itches a lot. I just turned 18 today.

    It liek came out of no where today. I swallowed and I felt the lump, and it hurts..

    The past couple months my throat has been itching and my ear kind of. so i itch it by makin this wierd sound.
    I didn't think it could be throat cancer, cuase im 18.?
    any other ideas?

    So I went to Urgent Care today.

    They said I didn't have strep, my tonsils aren't inflammed, and my ears are great. I don't understand. It was my first time going to urgent care. it's sort of hard to get my mom to make appointments,and urgent care is near us and so she decided to go there cause she has stuff to get done. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes.

    The guy asked me how long it has been going on, and I said my throat and ear itching has been a couple months, and the feeling of the lump in my throat just started yesterday. So he said he was just going to give me some amacasilion (sp?) since it has been going on for awhile.
    he didnt mention anything like throat cancer or anything. i guess its no biggy. all i know is that its just annoying.
    but anyways this morning i woke up and the lump feeling was gone, but then it would come back for a little while,and now guess what? its gone.
    *sigh*

    Go see a doctor. Medial advice should always be confirmed with at least one doctor. Second opinions never hurt; oftentimes doctors are wrong.
