You're reading I have a 2003 Honda Civic with 67,500 miles. Acceleration is sluggish and doesn't shift into next gear until 4k-5k rpm and used to be at 3k-4k & when pushing gas normal, rpm goes up and drops about 500 while still pushing gas. What could be wrong

Yes I had fluid service at 60,000 miles with honda certified ATF.

I agree that it is likely to be transmission-related, though I don't think it's a fluid change issue. Automatic transmissions are tricky to trouble shoot, and I'm not even 100% sure it IS the trans, so get a shop to look at it.
I doubt the ECU will tell you much about this issue. Get the car actually lookad at!

timing chain?

timing? If it was the timing the car would not be running well. It has nothing to do with shifts.
