Yes. i have had such, especially if the tooth cavity is close to a nerve, that effects the ear and hearing. the human face in the central point for the most nerves in the human body.

If the cavity is coming from a top tooth, yes it can hurt because it goes into your sinuses. You may also get facial pain, and or eye pain.
