Close up.On my windshield. He almost made it up and over.
Picture this:
I am jammin to some tunes flying over the causeway admiring the scene on a lovely spring day.
Suddenly I spot two birds doing their springtime mating ritual flitting through the air, not a care in the world. Suddenly the first bird flew in front of my car and I clipped the second one breaking it and flipping it over the car. The car behind me ran it over...
I was so heartbroken to know I took her mate, I had to stop the car and throw up.
Thanks for making me think about that horrible day again ;)
Yes. We hunt grouse and my cat is quite the killer.
Yes, at a house we used to live in a mother bird pushed all of her babies out of the nest to die. I had the task of disposing of them. It was very sad.
I was waiting for a bus in queens, and like mentioned above, two birds were performing their mating ritual. They landed on the road and as soon as they realized a car was coming.....only one got away. i was sitting at this bus stop, reading my book, and i just happened to look up at the moment this happened. The bird that lived, flew 5 feet away from me and looked back to check on its mate. I saw confusion in this bird. It was crazy and it has to mean something
