Actually, nothing... The design, posture and dimensions of the Statue of Liberty are based on what the tallest statue of the ancient world (107 ft tall), the Colossus of Rhodes was thought by engineers to have looked like. However, like the Colossus, the Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus was one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. http://hubpages.com/hub/7Wonders

The statue of Liberty's head is said to resemble Greek Sun-god Apollo or Helios. The ancient Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, was a statue of Helios with a radiate crown. The Mausoleum was also one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Besides that, I found out that the mausoleum had an approximate height of 45 metres (148 feet) and the statue's height from base to torch is 46 m (151 feet) (just 1 meter difference). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mausoleum_of_Maussollos http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statue_of_Liberty#Physical_characteristics
