No, I was to busy making me do housework. I studied on my own.

No. I did reading on my own. They made me do work work. Like gathering eggs, carring water, getting cows home to be milked, getting fuel for the old cook stove. When older, hauling corn to the bin, running tractor in the fields, doing chores, and later working as a plumber helper, clerking in a store, opening and marking prices on merchandise, etc.

Yeah, they forced summer reading, algebra worksheets, and other school work onto me. I read over the summer break.
