  • the pain sounds like a cramp, but the rest doesn't sound good. at best, it could be dehydration. changing elevation causes your blood pressure and heartbeat to change, and if your heart is dehydrated then it can have trouble coping with the change. you should consider seeing a doc, especially if it happens again.
  • Assuming you hydrate yourself properly, you may have had a small stroke. See your doctor about this as soon as you can.
  • triorion has the right idea. I upped your points. Some A$$hole DR'd you. Anybody else care to pitch in?
  • I had a similiar problem thought maybe my blood sugar was low. got it checked no problems with sugar. happened 3 o 4 times. finally had severe arythmia. i was shocked back to life over 35 times. arythmias are irregular heartbeats sometimes no problems, sometimes there are problems with them. i am no doctor but like i said i had exact same symptoms. when i finally passed out it was actuallyt a heart attack. my wife happened to be there and smacked me in the chest.see your doctor tell him you want a twelve lead ekg and possibley a portable 30 day heart monitor. Many young and not so young atheletes have this problem. it can cause sudden death like for me if not properly checked out. google ARVD and start reading about a-fib and v-fib. Johns hopkins medical center is leading the way on research for this problem. don't let pride get in your way. this doesnt mean you have blocked arteries. it could be an electrical problem that you did not cause. hope there is a defibrillator around if you need one.
