My grand-daughter decided four months ago that she wanted to live with her father.She has a serious eating disorder,and stated that she would get better living with him.She now wants to go back home to her mothers,what can she do,to get custody back.

    I think, at 15, she can choose which parent she wants to live with....at least she has a say....and a judge in a custody case will take her choice into consideration. Ultimately it will be decided in terms of what is in her best interest.
    The point is being missed here, tho'. This child is in serious emotional and physical danger. The parent who is most involved in getting her the help she needs will get custody, I believe.

    I don't know where about's in the world you are? but what kind of courts did they go through.

    A lot depends on that and also the age of your grandaughter. Also the reason she gave for wanting to live with her dad.
