  • i beleive any animal has a predator, even the elephant will be hunted down when it is young even a small lion will be hunted for food and man is a predator of every animal and also becomes preyed upon at times realalisticaly i dont think there is an animal that is not preyed upon in a given circumstance ( just my thoughts i could be 100% wrong;(.
  • I recently read that prides of lions have been seen attacking elephants. It was always thought lions and elephants had a kind of mutual respect for each other, they just gave each other a wide birth. Apparantly not. It is going to be shown on "BBC's Planet Earth" this Autumn. So any way I guess not elephants then. Maybe Lions?
  • Every animal has a predator. Bacteria and viruses fit the bill, btw. It is not so much a food chain as a food circle...if you will, the circle of life (think Lion King).
  • I have found the answer!! The only animal without a natural predator is the Tiger!!!
  • the reason the lions have resorted to having to try and kill elephants is because they cant find food - its that or starve. thanks to human overpopulation and global warming, this is how bad things are getting for them, its not natural and it didnt happen before except in rare rare instances of desperation. there are plenty of animals that dont have predators. crocs for one. and they dont die of illness. the species most terribly plaugued by illness in the world is the human being.
