  • GRANT DEED is the typical document used to transfer ownership of title from one person to the other. QUICKCLAIM is the form of document used for spouses, I am assuming this is two unmarried scenario....about paying for the transfer of title would need to be a decision between both interest parties...who ever wants out will need to get some money to give out their title of ownership... I only hope both parties can agreed on a figure..usually based on fair market value,minus the any liabilities(LOANS) but not limited to what would be the cost to sell the property...always keep that in mind....the other person is not entitle to 1/2 the equity but 1/2 the equity minus cost to sell if that was the scenario
