Yes. It appears that there are allergies to almost everything. I remember a news item several years ago about someone who 'allergic' to the 20th century. Basically anything non-natural adversely affected them. It's a bit like phobias. If you can think of something that people could possibly be scared of there will be somebody with that phobia. With yeast, I know that the Hepatitis B vaccine is derived from yeast and there are occasional reactions to the vaccine, but don't know if that is directly attributable to the yeast or if there are other factors at play.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as an allergy, but my ex-wife suffered from what was called a "systemic yeast overgrowth." This manifested as a number of different symptoms, the most common of which was regular (5 or 6 times a year) vaginal yeast infections. She found very little medical advice on how to deal with that problem. After suffering with the problem for years, she saw a traditional Chinese practitioner for a different problem. He diagnosed her yeast overgrowth problem without any of the medical tests that traditional medicine needed for a similar diagnosis. He gave her some herbal remedy, and also instructed her to start taking live Acidophilus supplements. (Acidophilus is the bacteria culture in yogurt.) Within 3 months of starting this regimen, the problem ceased. I can't recall what the herbal remedy was, but I believe the "Acidopilus therapy" was very helpful to her.
