can you give me an example of how to get all four digit combination starting the number 7
-
10!3???
-
i'm thinking 1000?
-
Well the first digit must be seven so you have three blanks to fill ____ _____ _____ and you have a choice between any number between 0-9 so thats ten choices so it would be 10*10*10 so 1000? can the numbers be repeating like 7000?? cause if not that changes the equation again it would be 10*9*8 (each time you have one less number to choose from) then it would be 720 depends on the restrictions

If the question is, how many different 4 digit codes are there starting with 7, then the codes would run from 7000-7999, which is 1,000.
