Funny...I was just trying to decide this today as well! You know the old saying, "Friends are the family that we get to choose"? Maybe, being raised by wolves (as I like to call my disfunctional family), our apple didn't fall too far from the tree and we're repeating the cycle... Friends - You love 'em just enough keep from suffocating them in their sleep.

I have the same problem i really loath my best friend but like him too. My issues with him are he always tries to be someone he`s not around everyone else. I constantly give advice he asks for but doesn`t take because he is just stupid trust me he is. I think it`s alot to do with how close best friends are it tends to be the little things you end up not likeing about a person.It`s probably what bothers you about your friend. In the case of my friend im just a babysitter, a 16 year old girl constantly looking after a boy who is nearly 19 it`s a little pathetic. I feel guilty for leaving him though.
