its trashy, immodest and untidy. as a contrast to the us & uk, go to elegant european cities like paris or turin and see how many women you can find with their bra straps showing. anyway, 90% it's going to be showing due to one of those stupid strap top things which look awful on 95% of women even without the bra straps (the really bad ones look awful on any woman but that upper 5% probably wouldnt buy them in the first place anyway). and is really that goddamn hard to get a strapless bra? have some dignity basically i would have serious reservations about the credentials of pretty much any woman who walked around with her bra straps wilfully showing

I don't like seeing a bra strap. It is not a big deal - if you have to show it to be comfortable, so be it. But for my preference, all bra straps would be covered by other clothing.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Exposed bra straps are just tacky. If you can't go without the bra then you should avoid fashions in which a bra would be exposed. You work the fashion your body can do. You would not advise a 280ib woman to go out in a Spandex mini just because she really thought it was cute. Or say to a guy it was OK to wear his favorite high tops to a black tie affair because they were black and supposing won;t clash with his tux. If she can't or don't want to go with out the bra ditch fashions like spaghetti straps and the likes.
