Question

Help answer this question below.

My 2005 Ford Expedition recently was not shifting properly. After backing out of my driveway in reverse it would take a few seconds while in drive before it would actually go. Today while driving it to the dealer the OD/OFF sensor began blinking. Help!

The shifting issue could have something to do with the shifting linkage cable or in the worst case the transmission is slipping which means it will need to be replaced eventually (thats what I would assume is the problem). If the OD light was blinking to aware you it was off although it was on sounds like an electronic issue. It could be a sensor in the engine.
