I have a contract with a real estate agent to sell a house, I have found out the company she worked for went out of business, she is now with a new agency is my contract with her still valid

    It shouldn't be. The contract was probably based on your relationship with the real estate agency, not with her specifically. If you signed a new contract with the new agency then the new contract holds sway.
