Help answer this question below.

My girlfriend and I are getting married in a few months, and have a daughter together. Her ex-husband's parents still consider her family, and claim and treat our child as THEIR grandchild, and make snotty comments to me. How do I get them to back off?

    I would try sitting them down a talking to them, Let them know, their comments are not help you and your girl friend strengthen your relationship. You can only gain their respect for heading the problem head on or a comment, I any case you can say you tried to your girlfriend.

    Her ex-husbands parents? Not to sound rude, but what business is it of theirs? If the child is yours and your girlfriends and not hers and her ex's, they shouldn't have any say in the matter at all. Honestly, they should be out of the picture by this point, and it sounds like they need to be reminded of that.

    well i would say that your gf (fiance) should tell them to respect you and your family that you have made together. sounds like they are crossing the line on many issues and that it is up to your gf to hold them responsible for their actions. if they cant do that then they dont need to be in your life or your kids life no matter what they feel about your gf.
