Help answer this question below.

What is the higghest amount a person can cash a check for? Like taking it to the counter and getting cash for it. Is there a limit, if so what is it?(NOTE: yes we have an account at the bank, and yes there is more money in the account than the check)

    That mainly depends on if that bank has enough in the vault to give it to you. If it is a huge amount you may need to give them notice so they can order more cash. But I have cashed out $20,000 before. Also, the Feds do track transactions like that and so does bank security. Just get cashiers checks if you are dealing with large amounts, it's safer. :)
