Often times a "messy" place reflects the state of mind of that person. With that in mind, I refrain from judging others based on thier messes.

Everybody judges everyone on things they notice. I don't generally say or share my judgments, but I do make them.

I do make judgments. We all make judgments. It's human nature. If a person's place is really messy, it gives me an idea of what kind of person they are. That's not to say they're a bad person, they could be a wonderful person.... but I would also think they are probably disorganized, slovenly, maybe even lazy and unclean, depending on how messy or dirty their place is. I also might think that they are having personal problems or might be depressed or something since people in emotional distress will often disregard basic housekeeping and stuff.

Not that i judge them i am just not comfortable in a messy place..okay well maybe a little bit. But, would not think they are a bad person just a messy person.

My car pooler is beyond messy. Her car is less than a year old and it is completely trashed. There are cigerette butts everywhere (she's sitting in them) The steering wheel is completely stained. The back is just full with trash. She really lives in squalor.....I don't think I could live with a person who lives in this kind of squalor.

I'm not judgmental. I don't mind a lived-in look (occasional clutter) but I'm really not thrilled with uncleanliness. It's very reasonable to expect things to be clean.
