Can you prearrange for a cart to pick up a person in an airport to take them to their next gate? My elderly mother is flying alone & needs help.

Yes you can. All you have to do is call the airport and have them set up a cart to meet at the gate.

Yes. Depending on the airport, you will either make the arrangement through the airport or directly through the airline. Call the airport and ask for Passenger Services. They will tell you whether they handle this or the airline does. If it is the airline, call the 1-800 number and explain the situation. They rarely publish local numbers for the airlines at the airport. If your mother is able, this is something she can request at the airport herself, either at check in, at the gate or even when she is on board the plane (she can advise a flight attendant who will call ahead to the airport and they will have a porter waiting).

As stated above, yes. Either through the airport itself at curbside check-in or even the ticket counter and with airline personnel when arriving at the next stop.
