Da Bulls! :) and why wouldn't they run up the score? I've seen to many basketball games that they score has come down to the wire. At least this way they were set to win.

Nothing wrong with running up the score. If you can't compete in the finals then you deserve to get trounced. It's always useful to put the nails deep into the coffin of your competitor. Take away their morale and thereby gain the psychological edge over them. The Lakers fans will be whining for many years about this 'injustice' perpetrated against their Shaq-less team. I would never have traded him.

Come on..who cares what the Lakers fans think..actually, the ones who think are surely disgusted by the abysmally sad performance of these overpaid players. The best team won..that's it. Any team will score as much as it can on any other team..doing less is unrealistic..it is your chance to shine, to show off, to put the braggarts in their place, to show the world who is best! :)

I would be embarrassed to make that claim if I was a fan. In addition to the near miss in game 2, there's the reality that you can't complain about running up the score at the professional level. I think it's ugly when Little League teams do that, and maybe high school, but once you hit college and beyond, it is what it is.

I don't know about the Lakers, but It took the Celtics 22 years to get back on top. They had every right to score as many points as they wanted to, you have to get rid of your frustrations 'positively' ; )

I live in Hell A and I'm sad that our Lakers lost, but Boston had every right to maximize the scoring differential in order to make damn sure that they won the title. Congrats to the City of Champions! :D

I don't think that they will. The Lakers pretty much gave up in the 3rd quarter. They didn't even try to stop Ray Allen from hitting those three pointers.
