  • I would take you animal to a vet post haste. It's hard to deal with the illness of a loved member of the family. Treat your dog as such. You'd take grandmom to the doctor if she was like that. Get your dog to a vet. I wish you all the best and will have your animal on my mind. Please let us know what happens? All the best! Anthony
  • Hate to say it but it sounds like the end is coming. When they stop eating, it is usually time to put them down. This is the last kind thing you can do for your dog. Don't let him suffer. I am sorry.
  • Your dog is relatively old,he has lived along life, from what I'm getting from you,a quik diognosis is diabetis. isatiable thirst he can't drink enough, that would be my guess
  • You should definetly be taking your dog to the vet ASAP.
  • take dog to vet - quickly!!!
  • I know exactly how you feel. My dog is 15 and is doing exactly the same. I had him to the vet yesterday abd she said he may come around and to wait until Thurday and bring him back. He cant walk much either, very wobbly and he has rapid eye movement. Wants to sleep all the time. He has had a long life and its breaking my heart but i know what i have to do as i cant see him suffer like this any longer. My heart and love is with you and your dog. I have no answers except that your dog is a good age like mine and sometimes no matter how heartbroken we are, we have to do whats best for our best friend. I wil miss my Mickey very much and i am in tears as i write this. Please take your dog to the vet as soon as you can.
