My idea of a "stay-cation" is areally engrossing craft project like mosaic-ing a table, that you normally wouldn't have time or energy to do. It's great to see the end result. My other is to take day trips to townships close by but where I haven't been before, eat out at cafes, browse art galleries, talk to the locals. Interesting what you can find out sometimes.

We're a tennis family, so starting June 23 we will have two weeks in England at Wimbledon. Then around Labor Day we will be in New York at the U.S. Open..of course, all courtesy of our Cable Stations. Lucky for us we enjoy being at home..too expensive to go anywhere these days. We do hope to make it to Honolulu sometime this year to visit my son..but with airlines going bankrupt, reducing seating by a projected 25% along with much higher airline fares, it may be out of the question financially! :)

I still plan a trip to Mexico with my friends tickets I got. But Im sure it will be the last visit for the rest of my life with the cost of everything. Of course, McCain promised just three nights ago if elected he was going to "end poverty and make us all prosper". Liar like his hero Bush!
