Fire your attorney and then contact and file a formal complaint against the attorney with that states bar association, the bar licenses and investigates attorneys accused of malpractice.

The previous answer will get the lawfirm/lawyer in trouble with the Bar association, but will do little for you.

Fire the attorney. Research law firms who handle professional malpractice claims. Meet with one and discuss the situation.
