  • Isolate themselves (as much as possible) from the rest of the world. Concentrate on making products in India to sell in India and any surplusses (organic not created) should be exported only AFTER India itself has all of that particular good that it needs. Focus on primary and secondary manufacturing (primary being, for instance, logging and secondary being cabinet making). They should not sell a log to the US (or anyone else) for $20 and buy it back in the form of a cabinet for $200.
