Help answer this question below.

Sony Trinitron 2001 given to me - owner could not use it due to cable input jack failure. I have satellite. TV needs some repair & don't want to put $ into it fearing other things may fail after that. Spouse feels differently. Input? parts arecostly.

    if the tuner is bad then do not use it - run audio/video cables from the sat box to the tv video inputs
