Help answer this question below.

My 10 year old boxer has oozing sores on his back, and on his feet/legs the hair is "peeling" almost like two layers held by glue. I can peel hair strips, and he licks it raw. Also his elbows are always bloody and raw. What's wrong?

    You need to take your dog to the vet ASAP!

    It sounds if he has some kind of allergy or fungal infection. There is NO home remedy for this ailment, only the professional expertise of a qualified veterinarian should be consulted. My English Bulldog has also suffered from similar ailments as to what your boxer may be suffering, he requires medication twice a day for his allergys.

    Can you give an English bulldog Benadryl? Someone said they give ut to theirs to help with itching. She has red sores under her arms abd legs. It started out around her tits. She's biting her front legs. We've washed her in flea powder, and that made it worse. We've also tried putting cornstarch on it. It's been getting worse for about a week. What should we do?

    I would rest him for a while, no training or sparring and keep him out of the ring.
    Could it be an allergy to his gloves?
