Isn't it better to be stupid, to know nothing of the horrors of life, than to be the most intelligent man alive and to know the bad things in life? I think intelligence is better. What do you think?

- Ahhh so true. You can convince an uneducated man after he has been shot that the bullet will make him live longer and he would believe it because of his lack of knowledge.

- absolutely, and you know what else? Knowing a little bit about something is more harmful than not knowing anything about it.

You know even though I've learned that life is unfair,unkind,and that if their is a God he may not love me at all, but I'm glad I am alive and got to experience life for what it is in spite of the horrors I face. I'm curious what do you think about life?

Why do old people think because they're old they know better? Intelligence does not change with age. The only difference between two equally intelligent younger and older people in wisdom is the amount of time spent creating insights on a topic.

For all the good stuff in life we tend to think that "more is better". Are there any good things where "less is better" is better?
