1. AC/DC - Long Way To The Top (If You Want To Rock & Roll)
2. Big Country - In A Big Country
"Amazing Grace"! :)
You need a bit of Scotland the brave. Come on now.
And here's a random man in a what looks like a Tesco carpark, playing it :)
Braveheart Theme
"Danny Boy"
I heard it at a funeral for a policeman.
The list is too long so I am going to say "anything played by Wolfstone." I think I have every album that they have done. After that, "anything by Tanahill Weavers." I can say the same for Tanahill Weavers. I just pulled a random Wolfstone video then a random Tanahill Weavers video.
Now I need to put on some Wolfstone.
AB will not let me embed a video so here are a couple of URL's:
Tanahill Weavers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIHhYbtrNsM
Wolfstone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urrMPH5dHus
Anything Gabstar can play. She'll never admit to it though.:-)
Big Country!
What, you thought I would name something more traditional?
definitely AC/DC It's A Long Way To The Top (if you wanna rock and roll). I mean, rock and roll, bagpipes, it goes hand in hand.
actually, shoots and ladders by KoRn is another good one, too
MORE ROCK AND ROLL
Royal Scots Dragoon Gaurds - Amazing Grace
I have gotten to like March of Cambreadth.
It seems like a fitting anti-troll song for AB.
... the Black Watch Regimental Theme Song, "Black Bear" ... by the Black Watch Band.
"Fields of Athenry" Dropkick Murphys
'Amazing Grace' is simply amazing :o)

Have you ever heard "Amazing Grace" played on the bagpipes? I heard it outside at a funeral service and I thought it sounded beautiful that way.

Hey Ed! your answer to this question inspired me to dig out all the old Big Country I used to love(much appreciated..still sounds as good as ever)..also did some reading up on Stuart Adamson(R.I.P) did you know that Big Country never used bagpipes in their songs?! It was all E-bow and guitars!
by APACHEmeansENEMY on July 27th, 2008
I had no idea, sounded so much like bagpipes.
I actually like one of their later albums best, Why The Long Face.

Neither did I! Isn't that cool? "The Crossing" will always be a favorite of mine...but I like the later stuff too...
