A couple of months ago my boyfriend changed the oil in my corolla, but spilled oil. The check engine light came on soon after, so I replaced the spark plugs and wires. The check engine light has come on again. What could be the problem?

    Did he over fill the engine? Check the oil. If it looks good, check the oil pressure sensor on you engine, if all looks okay, take it to a reputable mechanic.

    Need to take your car to a dealer and let the computer analyze your car's condition. there is no way to give an exact answer, because the check engine light, can cover a large variety of engine problems.
