The chances of you being pregnant could be very high. My sister got pregnant the first time while on the pill. Birth control is better thought of as a "just in case." Your boyfriend should still be using a condom. Plus, birth control doesn't protect you STDs.

As I understand, 2% of the population will get pregnant using the pill (98% effective). So there is a chance. If you and your boyfriend are not in a commited relationship and financially and emotionally prepared to take care of a person for the rest of your life, tell him to wrap it.

The pill, when taken PERFECTLY, at the same time, every day, without fail, has a 1% failure rate. That means, for every 100 girls that take the pill perfectly, one will get pregnant within a year.

i agree with dedao there are chances its only 98% effective so you might be have you missed your period? anyway yeh condoms are the best way safe clean good fun lol if you know what i mean i am sure with him going in you it gets a little messy at times even if your sure your bf doesnt have any STD's or anything its the best way to do "it"

Not everyone gets pregnant on the pill its like 1 in every 1000. If you miss your period then your pregnant. If you get your period then your not. The pill can give you side effects. Your body is getting used to it. If it carries on and you keep feeling weird change your pill. otherwise your going to make yourself ill. You have morning sickness and missed periods if your pregnant even if your on the pill. Your still get the same symptoms. I only threw up a few days ago and I was going dizzy. I've only been on my cilest pill 3 months.
