  • The EEC or EEC wiring of course. You either have a short circuit in the EEC power supply or the EEC is busted itself.

  • Did you ever resolve the EEC circuit / Fuse issue? I have the same problem with my 92 Ranger 3.0 V-6. The engine starts and runs for 10-15 seconds, then the EEC fuse blows, engine stalls. I have checked all the grounds and connections, etc. and the results are still the same. I replaced the EEC and Fuel Pump relays as a last resort, fuse still blows after starting the engine. Any success with your truck?
