I have read Scientologist pamphlets that claim you can be any religion and practice Scientology at the same time. With regards to Christianity, I'm afraid this is probably not true. Christians believe that salvation and forgiveness is given by God only, while Scientologists claim that it is earned through their auditing sessions. Also, Christians believe that salvation and forgiveness is free, while Scientologists charge a pretty penny in order for you to be cleared.

Also, there are several documented cases of Scientology's founder L. Ron Hubbard saying some pretty nasty things about Christians and Jesus in particular. I don't know what Christian, in good faith, could follow the teachings of a man who claimed that Jesus was Satan, and a molester of small boys.

I believe these are the major reasons why Christians should not follow the teachings of Scientology.
