As long as you are married it is not a sin, but ANY sex outside of marriage is a sin. whether it makes a baby or not.
I may be way off base but it is my understanding that without procreation you and I wouldn't even be here to discuss it. I think it is a "sin" if a child is conceived via "rape" or "incest". But the "sin" is totally on the soul of the instigator, not the person who carries that child or the child. The perpetrator in my mind is not redeemable and will forever be marked as evil, vile, venal and dishonorable..no redemption there, not even on a deathbed! :(
